Join Our Team as an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor to become a vital part of our Training Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer mentorship and support to engineering apprentices in attaining level 3 competency qualifications.
  • Perform regular evaluations and assessments in accordance with qualification standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with employers of apprentices.
  • Oversee workplace health and safety for learners.
  • Assess student submissions and provide constructive feedback promptly.
  • Conduct written evaluations of apprentices' engineering tasks.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering apprenticeships and assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Internal Quality Assurance processes and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Time-served engineer with specialization in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Relevant engineering qualification at level 3 or higher.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
  • CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or Teaching Qualification.
  • Internal Quality Assurance certifications.
  • IOSH Health and Safety certification.
  • Experience with E-portfolio and software applications.
