{"h1": "Medical Safety Specialist", "p": "At PrimeVigilance, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving post-marketing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports occurring in clinical trials for medical/causality assessment. This includes coding, assessment of seriousness, expectedness, and Company causality, as well as writing of Company comment, follow-up questions and Analysis of Similar Events. You will also support the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance in the medical understanding and evaluation of any safety issues. Additionally, you will review articles to determine if they contain ICSRs/SAEs related to the relevant Medicinal Product or other safety related findings.
Responsibilities:
* Review and approve post-marketing ICSRs and SAE reports
* Support the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance in medical understanding and evaluation of safety issues
* Review articles for ICSRs/SAEs related to Medicinal Products
* Review database outputs
Requirements:
* Medical qualification as a Physician
* Fluent in Japanese and good English communication skills
* Ability to work effectively cross culturally and value the importance of teamwork
* Presentation skills
* Advanced knowledge of English and MS Office
