Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and carrying out quantity surveys on construction projects.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all costs are accurately accounted for and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices and a proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Carry out quantity surveys on construction projects
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost accounting
  • Develop and implement cost estimation strategies
  • Provide expert advice to clients on cost estimation

Requirements:

  • Chartered status (RICS or similar)
  • Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices
  • Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement cost estimation strategies

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
