Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate General Assistant to join our team at The Venues Collection. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venues, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a high standard of quality work and adhere to company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
• Assist in all food production areas with basic food preparation and ensure that the correct service equipment and menu accompaniments are available prior to service
• Serve customers with hot and cold food and beverages during service times and inform Chef/manager in advance of any menu shortages
• Ensure all displays, counters, and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
• Assist with deliveries, storing, rotating, stock taking, temperature checks, and cleaning all work areas during and after use
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and acquire a good knowledge of all products to advise individual customers on their product choice
Requirements
• Awareness of food and hygiene standards
• Passionate about care and able to communicate effectively
• Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
• Confident working in a care home environment
