Job Description:

We have exciting opportunities for Toxicology Regulatory Scientists to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will involve working on the regulation of chemicals and developing skills in regulatory science. You will work closely with stakeholders, including industry bodies, multi-national chemical businesses, and other regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To apply scientific knowledge and skills to prepare written technical evaluations of data.
  • To provide toxicological and regulatory advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • To analyse and interpret toxicological information against relevant regulations and models.
  • Presenting summaries, decisions, and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders.

Person Specification:

  • A degree in a relevant science subject, such as biochemistry or biology.
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to write/present effective technical information.
  • Commitment to learning and development, including on-the-job learning.
