Job Title: Senior Account Manager - Food Ingredients

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team at Cinnamon Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing UK accounts for a leading global manufacturer of natural ingredients for the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Achieve sales growth by developing and expanding sales of natural food ingredients to existing customers within the food and beverage sector in the UK.

* Identify and pursue business development opportunities at new and existing customers within beverage, dairy, bakery, and other food sectors.

* Support allocated customers with technical product selection across several applications.

* Develop and implement account and territory plans for your markets.

Requirements:

* A degree in Food Science or a similar scientific subject.

* A minimum of 1 year's practical experience in a product development or applications role within the food and beverage sector, ideally working with food ingredients, colours, or flavours.

* Proven capability to manage customers and prospects, develop and maintain strong relationships, and deliver high levels of service.

What We Offer:

* Full UK driving licence required.

* Desire and flexibility to travel both within the UK and overseas.

* Full product training will be provided as part of an extensive induction process.

This position will have some home working but there is a requirement to be in the office in Derbyshire for c2 days a week.
