Business Development Opportunity in Precision Engineering

Company is seeking a Business Development Manager to support their existing BD function and focus on developing existing accounts, identifying new target markets, and customers. The ideal candidate should have a background in Sales or Business Development, experience in precision engineering/advanced manufacturing, and knowledge of businesses with strong machining and fabrication capabilities. The role involves market analysis, tender review, contract review, customer relationship management, and estimating & quoting RFQs. Successful applicants must demonstrate previous Business Development/Sales experience in precision engineering environments, sound market knowledge, and excellent communication skills. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, stability, office-based work with some customer visits/networking required, and various benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities
  • Review and negotiate contracts and tenders
  • Estimate and quote RFQs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Business Development/Sales in precision engineering environments
  • Strong market knowledge and understanding of businesses with strong machining and fabrication capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
