Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of our pub, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of quality
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales
  • Assist with the management of the bar, including ordering supplies and managing cash handling
  • Support the management team in the development and implementation of new initiatives and promotions
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, fire safety, and food safety
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of craft beer and wine is a plus
