Carmichael UK is seeking a skilled Sub Agent to join our team on the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings and pre-commencement documentation
  • Liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works
  • Manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers
  • Coordinate construction operations to ensure they conform to contract requirements and maintain a high level of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ)
  • Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience of working on Structures, Highways, and/or drainage
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager, or Gold-Supervisor certification
  • Full driving license
