Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our production machinery.
- Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including single and three-phase electrics, invertors, drives, motors, and PLC fault finding.
- Working on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, and bearings.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for machinery improvements and upgrades.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering qualification, such as a C&G, ONC, HND, or equivalent. They will also have experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment and be able to work effectively in a team.
