**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cardiac Physiologist to lead our non-invasive cardiac diagnostic service at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, developing its growth and continued improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage resources in line with service requirements, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • To lead on the development and growth of the echocardiography and pacing service.
  • To participate in cardiac investigations within own skill-base and have working knowledge of all aspects of all services, including administrative duties.
  • To write clinical reports for transthoracic echocardiography to a BSE standard.
  • To maintain expertise in cardiac resuscitation procedures in accordance with agreed policies.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
  • ILS or BLS certification.
  • RCCP registration (desirable).
  • BSE or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as independent practitioner in cardiology investigations.
  • Leadership skills and experience of managing clinical staff/team.
