About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced data analysis and machine learning models to improve aviation safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality analytical reports and answer customer requests using flight data.
  • Liaise with customers for ad-hoc data analysis and development of predictive models.
  • Present results of analyses and models in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards with valuable insights using data from the data warehouse.
  • Mentor junior team members and lead technical data science projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data science or a related field.
  • Expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Python/R programming languages and their plotting libraries.
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL queries.
