We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Radiologist with a strong interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support the growing workload and service development in General Radiology, with a focus on Musculoskeletal Imaging.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Imaging Department to manage patient referrals and deliver a high-quality imaging service.
- Contribute to the department's general radiology work, including a 1 in 12 on-call rota.
- Provide crucial support to radiographers and sonographers, and be actively involved in the teaching and training of specialist registrars, junior medical staff, nursing staff, and medical students.
- Participate in departmental and Trust-wide Clinical Governance and audit activities, and commit to continuing professional development.
- Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice.
- Entry on GMC Specialist Register in General Radiology via CCT (or within 6 months from date of interview) or CESR (must be on Specialist Register by date of interview).
- Medical Degree: MB BS, MBChB or equivalent.
- FRCR or equivalent.
- Subspecialty training in MSK Radiology and expertise in full range of MSK imaging, including MSK USS and necessary imaging to support Rheumatology and Plastic surgery.
- Able to take full and independent responsibility for clinical work and delivering service without direct supervision.
