In this challenging role as a Hydraulic Engineering Expert Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead and guide a team of engineers working on complex water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering hydraulic engineering services on various projects, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Your technical expertise will play a vital role in shaping our designs and providing guidance to junior colleagues. You will develop and review hydraulic calculations, HADES models, specifications, drawings, and reports, and cultivate strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers working on hydraulic engineering services
  • Develop and review hydraulic calculations, HADES models, specifications, drawings, and reports
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, adopting a collaborative approach to support their objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, promoting best practices in hydraulic design
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and efficient resource allocation

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or water resources management
  • Proven track record in providing hydraulic engineering services, ideally within the water/wastewater sector
  • Experience with HADES modelling software and other relevant tools
