Senior Programme Manager, Medtech and Digital Healthcare Innovations

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to join our team at LGC, responsible for managing multiple funding programmes and supporting the translation of health and social care innovations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the health and social care innovation ecosystem, including product development and the translational research pathway. They will be experienced in working in research management, technology transfer environments, and health tech accelerators, start-ups, and organisations supporting innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery of new activities and funding calls
- Management of a portfolio of projects led by small and medium enterprises, academia, and NHS Trusts
- Development of close relationships with innovators and entrepreneurs
- Representation and promotion of our funding programmes
- Educated to MSc/PhD level in biomedical, health, or science
- Excellent understanding of health and social care innovation ecosystem
- Experience of working in research management, technology transfer environment, health tech accelerators, start-ups, organisations supporting innovation
- Experience of working within multiple areas of the health, social care, and life sciences
- Competitive salary: £47,300 - £55,300 (higher salary for exceptional candidates)

This is an office-based, hybrid role with an expectation for all employees to attend our offices a minimum of 4 days a month, usually worked as 1 day per week, and may increase, subject to team requirements.
