Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ESD Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in demolition projects and a proven track record of working with tier one contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial aspects of demolition projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports to inform project decisions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, value management, and cost control to minimize project risks.
  • Oversee procurement processes, manage subcontractor payments, and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on demolition projects.
  • Extensive experience in demolition projects, including cost management and budgeting.
  • Previous employment with a tier one contractor, with a strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
