Greener and Cleaner is seeking a skilled volunteer to join our repair team at our Hub in The Glades, Bromley. As a Repair Technician Volunteer, you will be responsible for providing repair services to the community, reducing waste and increasing the confidence of visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide repair services at our drop-in repair café
  • Use repair tools and equipment to fix household items, electrical appliances, bicycles, furniture, and textiles
  • Work in a customer-facing role, interacting with diverse community members
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve our mission of reducing waste and promoting sustainability

Requirements

  • Experience in repair and maintenance of household items, electrical appliances, bicycles, furniture, and textiles
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Availability to commit 4 hours per month to this volunteer role
