Job Description
  • Lead a team of experts to deliver legal investigation and presentation services, managing internal and external teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements to meet quality, timeliness, and value targets.
  • Create and lead a presentation management team to drive learning and improvement.
  • Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand operational issues, flex resources, and escalate risks as needed.
  • Partner with senior counsel and heads of ILAS to manage High Court appeals or Judicial Reviews.
  • Build productive relationships with defense organizations, external legal providers, and other professional bodies to ensure efficient case management.
  • Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships and contribute expertise to strategic projects.
  • Contribute significantly to the leadership of the Legal and Governance Directorate by proposing and implementing aligned projects.
  • Require extensive knowledge of regulatory or criminal law and best practices.
  • Have extensive experience in successfully leading and developing high-performing teams responsible for delivering high-quality casework.
  • Able to set clear expectations and address performance issues promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in building and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and teams.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory or criminal law and best practices.
