Job Title: Kdb Developer

We are seeking a skilled Kdb Developer to join our CloudKdb team in London. As a Kdb Developer, you will play a key role in improving the architecture of our existing market and trade capture system, allowing it to scale to capture more data sets required by the business.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on big data problems at terabyte scale while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver solutions based on that data. You will be responsible for developing parts of the Kdb target state architecture with the help of senior Kdb developers, documenting business requirements, proposing and developing solutions, and carrying out testing to ensure requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Kdb solutions to improve the stability and reliability of our system.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Continually improve the software development lifecycle and quality of the product.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience working with Kdb+ at enterprise level or low-latency Java or Python with a desire to learn Kdb.
  • Experience of scrum-based SDLC.
  • Knowledge of Linux/bash.
  • Experience of trading platforms or knowledge of financial markets.
