Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of production equipment, with a focus on reactive and proactive responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop production equipment to meet the needs of our clients
- Maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production environments, process control, and new product integration
- Proficient in PLC programming, 3-phase 415vac, single-phase 110/120vac, and low voltage DC systems
- Experience with fabrication (milling, lathing, welding) and working with metals and plastics
