About the Role

We are looking for a talented Transportation Director - Depot Management to oversee the daily operations of our depots in Dewsbury and Heckmondwike. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our fleet and depot staff.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the maintenance, health, and safety of Company premises meet and improve on required standards
  • Leadership of engineers and onsite staff, including external contractors
  • Multisite responsibility for H&S and statutory requirements
  • Resource planning support to Team Leaders (leave, sickness, training)
Requirements:
  • A strong engineering background with proven experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy vehicles
  • Ideal candidates will have served a recognised apprenticeship or hold a vocational qualification in a relevant mechanical or electrical engineering field
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices and adherence to related policies
