Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all plant equipment through effective planned, preventive, and condition-based maintenance systems.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, providing efficient fault finding and repair, while contributing to high-standard Root Cause Analysis to prevent future failures.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, protecting yourself and others.
  • Develop and implement well-thought-out engineering solutions to optimize equipment performance, procedures, and departmental budgets, enhancing equipment maintainability, reliability, and availability.
  • Adhere strictly to all company processes and sub-processes related to Health & Safety, Maintenance systems, and Purchasing.
  • Actively support the Shift Maintenance Engineer in completing daily duties and tasks.
  • Undertake any additional duties as requested by your line manager.
  • Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times relevant to the task or area.
  • Support the formal Integrated Management System by accurately applying all defined policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain awareness of company policies and procedures, working within the guidelines as stated.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
