Job Summary:

Gold Group Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Controller to join our team in Reading. As a Fund Controller, you will play a critical role in the development, design, construction, and operation of utility scale solar farms and battery storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with field engineers to prioritize and plan jobs based on urgency and business objectives.
  • Liaise with and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for project teams, including logistics and transportation.
  • Create customer information packs as per contract agreements and company policies.
  • Compile monthly reports by extracting and manipulating data to inform business decisions.
  • Manage document control, including purchase orders, goods received, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor site performance and perform basic fault analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage key component stock, including procurement, delivery, and inventory control to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Enforce the company's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) regulations in both office and field settings.
  • Report any potential health, safety, environmental, or quality risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Be proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) to effectively manage customer interactions and data.
  • Maintain a professional telephone manner and accurate document processing to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve business objectives.
  • Similar technical experience is advantageous, though full training will be provided to ensure success in the role.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office to effectively manage customer interactions and data.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve business objectives.
