We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our client's dedicated team in maintaining and repairing electrical systems in an industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test over 360 distribution boards on site as part of a 3-year program
- Carry out remedial work from inspections and testing
- Complete installation work and upgrades to site equipment
- Ensure compliance with British standards and regulations for safety
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Proficient in electrical systems and repairs
- Experience with power tools and hand tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
This is a 3-month rolling contract with the option to extend. The work is ongoing for the foreseeable future. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30-4pm, with one Saturday per month. The option to work extra Saturdays is also available.
