About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to drive customer and category strategies, influencing key category levers such as range, merchandising, and pricing/promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customer and category strategies to drive growth and improve market share.
- Provide expertise on market trends, category insights, and shopper behavior to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are at the heart of all decision-making and initiatives.
- Analyze NPD launches and market activity to identify opportunities for innovation and activation.
- Conduct regular store visits to gather market insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and present reports and market audits to support category and business growth.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4 years of experience in a Category Management role within FMCG.
- Excellent data interpretation and analysis skills.
- Expert knowledge of market data platforms such as Nielsen and Kantar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to present insights to various stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
