About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Kirby Group Engineering. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on EHS matters, including risk assessments, safety procedures, and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems, including safety plans, incident reporting, and training programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site managers, and supervisors to ensure EHS compliance and promote a culture of safety.
  • Prepare and present reports on EHS performance, including KPIs and trends, to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, including CDM and Construction Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and CSA is an asset.
