Private Client Lawyer Opportunity

Avocet Legal Careers is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a reputable law firm in the South. This full-time, office-based role offers excellent career prospects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload encompassing wills, trusts, estates, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters, and more.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients on private client matters.
  • Independently manage your caseload while collaborating with experienced colleagues.
  • Utilize digital dictation methods and case management systems efficiently.
Requirements:
  • NQ 3 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Solid experience in private client work, including will drafting, deputyships, LPAs, trusts, and estates administration.
  • Membership of STEP or working towards this qualification is desirable.
  • Proficiency in digital dictation and case management software (e.g., Dragon).
  • Ability to meet billing targets and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and committed to professional integrity.
