We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Manchester. This is a senior position that requires the ability to run design projects from enquiry through to handover.

Our ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, such as an ONC/HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, and experience using technical packages like CAD, Dialux/Relux & Amtech.

The salary for this role is approximately £52,500 per annum, which is competitive with industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 26 days holiday rising to 31 days, flexible working arrangements, and a personal development plan with mentorship from a senior engineer.

The main responsibilities of this role include communicating with clients to advise on suitable technical solutions, undertaking site visits and preparing reports, and liaising with Architects, Structural Engineers, and Contractors.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience in electrical design and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use technical packages like CAD, Dialux/Relux & Amtech
  • Confident and proactive approach to problem-solving
