Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Byron Recruitment. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a payroll team, processing payrolls, and managing payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5 payroll professionals
  • Process payrolls on a monthly basis
  • Manage payroll systems and ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Review and approve expenses, labour invoices, rates, and timesheets
  • Administer payroll changes, leavers, new starters, and salary reviews
  • Conduct budgetary and standard cost reporting
  • Provide monthly reporting and analysis
  • Support and liaise with senior management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a payroll management position
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • A professional payroll qualification
  • Extensive payroll knowledge and experience of processing large volumes of payrolls
  • Strong audit skills
  • Adaptable to change and work well under pressure
