About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems for automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Design and Development: Design and develop control systems for automotive applications, including high-level architecture, software development, and systems integration.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initial requirements identification to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure progress is on track and to the expected standard.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure best use of skills and resources.
Technical Skills Required
  • Software Development: Proficiency in software development tools such as Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, and PC applications (Visual studio).
  • Simulation and Analysis: Experience with simulation and analysis tools, including model development, data generation, and analysis.
  • Vehicle Systems Architecture: Knowledge of vehicle systems architecture design, including vehicle communications systems and safety analysis.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools, including time and technical planning, supplier management, and customer management.
Desirable Skills
  • Electronic Circuit Design: Knowledge of electronic circuit design and its application in automotive systems.
  • ISO26262: Understanding of the ISO26262 standard and its application in automotive systems.
  • Automotive Quality and Management Systems: Familiarity with automotive quality and management systems and processes.
