Service Technician - Crane Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes Demag UK Ltd. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent
  • Conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Health and Safety knowledge
  • Experience maintaining overhead cranes and hoists
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights
  • Willingness to work extra hours
  • Hold a current driving license
  • Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium
