As a Bus Fleet Maintenance Technician with TXM Recruit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, this position requires you to maintain, service, and repair vehicles to meet or exceed legal, regulatory, and company standards.
About the RoleThis is a 37-hour per week, 5 out of 7 days position reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet in a safe, efficient, and economical manner. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the company operating licence is always protected by adhering to minimum legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Maintain, service, and repair vehicles to meet or exceed the minimum legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Use our digital maintenance system Freeway in all day-to-day operations to maximise the benefit of efficiencies and data from the system.
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Undertake major unit changes on vehicles.
- Check and prepare vehicles for the annual DVSA inspection.
