The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in BSL and be confident working with Hearing Impaired individuals.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting Hearing Impaired students
* Assisting educators with administering the curriculum
* Building positive relationships with Class Teachers to support young people effectively
* Supervising students as appropriate

Requirements:

* Minimum Level 2 in BSL
* Full, clean Driving Licence to travel between Gateshead locations
* Ability to forge positive relationships with educators and school staff
* Experience working with Hearing Impaired young people
* Enhanced, Children's DBS on the update service
