Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at our Wakefield Bakery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer or Shift Engineer to work in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving faults, conducting planned and preventative maintenance, and working on a variety of equipment from bulk handling systems to PLC control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation, policy, and standards, identifying any required actions.
  • Drive improvements in asset reliability and reduce losses.
  • Develop a maintenance approach for bakery equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and food safety legislation, company standards, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).
  • Electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer preferred.
  • Understanding of PLC (ideally Allen Bradley) and control systems with fault-finding ability.
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills.
  • Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTEC, or equivalent.
