Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment Limited. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coach a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Deputize for the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless store operations and compliance with company policies.
  • Implement sales strategies and promotions to drive sales growth and maximize revenue.
  • Lead the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Execute daily stock orders to ensure the store is fully stocked and ready for action.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and travel within a 45-minute radius of the store.
  • Results-driven and focused on achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
