About the Job:

The Interior Health Authority's innovative HART program provides mobile critical care services to rural patients in need of advanced life support. This mission-driven team, comprising a Critical Care RN and Registered Respiratory Therapist as required, collaborates with rural clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to higher levels of care when necessary.

When not on transport, HART RNs actively support patient care at their base hospital. This is a Casual Opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts potentially scheduled at short notice. However, casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions, which can lead to regular employment.

Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

This scenic city offers an ideal location to raise a family or retire, with various outdoor recreational opportunities, including golf, hiking, and skiing, as well as shops, boutiques, cafes, an arts centre, and heritage attractions.

This area's economy is driven primarily by mining, forestry, transportation, and tourism. The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000-$115,000 per year, based on industry standards and regional factors.
