Cogent Staffing is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating pick sheets and picking order loads from sheets
  • Carrying out warehouse operations, packing orders, and processing goods
  • Using hand-held scanners to pick orders
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting of up to 30kg when required
  • Driving to regular customers if required, with around 10-12 drops per run

Requirements:

  • No more than 6 points on driving license
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg
  • Comfortable with driving long distances following route navigation when needed

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.70
  • 42 hour working week average
  • Ongoing work with potential for a permanent role after 12 full weeks qualifying period
