About the Role

Capita is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Surveyor to join our established Property team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering services to our public sector clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Asset Valuations: Deliver high-quality statutory asset valuations for accounting purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Property Advice: Provide expert strategic property advice on high-level regeneration and strategy projects, leveraging your knowledge of property markets and trends.
  • Property Management: Offer a professional property service in relation to the management, acquisition, and disposal of property and property-related interests for our core clients and external partners.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Maximize the performance of our clients' core operational and non-operational portfolios, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Negotiations and Advice: Conduct negotiations with public and private sector owners and developers, providing expert landlord and tenant advice on a range of property types.
  • Valuations and Disposals: Undertake land and property valuations and disposals for various purposes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold a degree in a property or related discipline and be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Experience: Possess experience working in a property office environment, with a proven track record of delivering strategic land disposals and high-profile regeneration projects.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have a thorough understanding of the CPO process, computer literacy, and proficiency in valuation, GIS, and asset management databases.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a busy environment as part of a team, and possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude to work.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Confidently interact with clients, influencing and convincing them, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Driving License: Possess a full driving license.
