About the Role

Oxford Knight is seeking a highly skilled Python developer to join our Equities Rapid Application Development (RAD) team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for building bespoke tactical technology solutions for our Portfolio Management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Python-based tools, dashboards, and reports for PMs and risk managers
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of technologies and working closely with Portfolio Management teams
  • Facing off to the business, working on fast-paced projects, and communicating effectively with financial and technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3-10 years' experience in developing with Python (pandas/numpy), with a mix of Python/C++/Java experience
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills and experience in financial markets (rates/fx/credit) and mathematics/modelling/statistics
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science from a top-tier university
Desirable Skills
  • Python data science stack and/or cloud technologies
