Job Title: Youth Mental Health Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Mental Health Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our students.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health support to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism and co-existing disorders. You will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to help students regulate their emotions, process their thoughts and feelings, and de-escalate any challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to students with mental health needs
  • Work with teaching staff to develop and implement mental health strategies
  • Assist students with emotional regulation and behavior management
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide a comprehensive support package
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, a compassionate spirit, and a passion for supporting the mental health and well-being of young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
