Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clean Services Operations Lead to join our team at Nter Talent.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of top-tier services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the North East region. As the Clean Services Operations Lead, you will lead and motivate field-based teams to ensure efficient operations for our customers.

You will work collaboratively with your teams to ensure we keep our customer promises and do so to the highest possible standard. In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff performance, motivating and monitoring staff, and ensuring all Site Supervisors, Team Leaders and Operatives within your responsibility are aware of duties and provide services to the best of their capabilities.

  • Manage, evaluate, motivate, and monitor staff performance using leadership principles
  • Work towards delivering outstanding but efficient performance in areas of responsibility
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through cross-selling of additional services
  • Achieve and exceed contract profit targets through meticulous financial control of spending
  • Develop new business that supports departmental strategic growth
  • Deliver effective team management, coordinating multiple resources across varying locations
  • Demonstrate and implement robust practices aligned with company Policies & procedures with support of People & Practices and HSEQ
  • Collaborate with Senior Operations Manager to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction
  • Ensure quality standards are met through regular audits and inspections using digital tools
  • Provide feedback to Senior Operations Managers to allow fluid customer communication
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new starters providing them with best possible knowledge to excel in roles
  • Comply with current Health & Safety Regulations, Policies including lawful Insurance provisions, and assist in implementation of new systems
  • Initiate and develop positive solutions to challenges
  • Adept a “hands-on” approach where required, therefore leading by example
  • Ensure scheduling, wages, and budgets are processed correctly and in line with management instruction

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in managing people and staff
  • ILM L3 desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safety Required within first 12 months, must demonstrate exemplary knowledge of Health & Safety in workplace
  • Thorough knowledge and competence O365
  • Excellent understanding of cleaning processes and systems
  • Ability to communicate with clients through appropriate face-to-face relations but also via textual communications
