Autism Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint Autism Practitioners to support a young man in his 20s in an outreach style service, using his family home as a base. The aims of this support are to promote and encourage opportunities for the person to engage in his local community and to rediscover what brings him joy and a sense of fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the individual in his daily life, promoting independence and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the individual's needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with the individual's family and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support network.
  • Provide transportation for the individual, using a manual vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Experience of working within social care, preferably with autistic individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
