Job Title: Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team in a unique supported tenancy setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to two adults with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily routines and activities
  • Work effectively with the manager, team, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Support wheelchair-bound service users, using hoists as necessary
  • Establish good daily routines and perform personal care tasks
  • Display emotional resilience and empathy when supporting service users with life-limiting conditions
  • Work to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs
  • Experience in, or prepared to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
  • Registration under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving license
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
