Job Title: Senior Fixed Income Analyst

Aspen Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fixed Income Analyst to join our Group Investment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting investment management activities with a strong focus on investment analysis and solution across asset classes at the Group level and aligned entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop bespoke modelling solutions and analytics to inform investment decision-making and support investment-related corporate initiatives.
  • Support the interaction between the investment team and risk management/capital modelling, including the enhancement of 1st line risk reporting.
  • Work with external asset managers to identify opportunities and make recommendations to optimise portfolio returns across the group and subsidiary balance sheets.
  • Preparation and analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment performance, manager oversight report, and compliance reports.
  • Research and recommend new investment strategy and solution to help the Group meet its corporate objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Minimum 2:1).
  • Minimum 5 years' investment experience.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation and technical writing skills.
  • Teamwork – able to collaborate and work flexibly with others.
  • Highly proficient in Bloomberg and MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Python or other programming language in Finance.
  • Research skills – maintaining awareness of emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
  • A high level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Effective time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly identify issues and create best practice solutions.
