Production Value Stream Planner

Production Flow Support:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive production plan to ensure the timely delivery of manufactured items to warehouses and customers by aligning production capacity with demand and managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings.
  • Collaborate with the Production team leaders to identify and address planning-related throughput issues, and contribute to the development of improved planning processes.
  • Assist team leaders in their absence by overseeing the release of production work and ensuring that planning-related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) settings are accurate.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as late orders, open works orders, and zero stock to inform supply chain corrective actions and drive efficiency.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with PDCA or lean principles.

Periodic/Projects (Obsolescence, NPI, Process or Component Changes):

  • Ensure that all MRP settings related to production planning are correctly set up to accommodate upcoming New Product Introduction (NPI) releases.
  • Liaise with the Doc & Data team to guarantee that items are properly set up in every warehouse entity prior to NPI releases.
  • Coordinate the warehouse stock rundown process for obsolescence and provide projected warehouse depletion timelines to ensure uninterrupted product supply.
  • Contribute to projects impacting production planning and proactively seek knowledge of MRP settings relevant to production planning.
