Company Overview: The Upchurch Choral Society is a SATB choir of about 34 members with diverse musical backgrounds. We rehearse and perform in a church setting, with a pipe organ and electric piano available. Our accompanist has been with us for many years, ensuring high-quality performances.

Salary: An estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£35,000 per annum, considering the location and industry standards. However, some remuneration will be given following audition and appointment.

Job Description: As our new Music Director, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our reputation by selecting a varied repertoire, forward planning, and working closely with our committee. You will also need to develop a good rapport with choir members.

Required Skills and Qualifications: A strong musical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for this position. Your experience in conducting a choral society or similar group would be beneficial.
