Job Overview

Lough Erne Resort is a luxurious five-star hotel and golf resort seeking a skilled Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our conference and banqueting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of all conference and banqueting events to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Lead and motivate a team of conference and banqueting staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of service.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, resolving any guest issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all event requirements are met, including food and beverage, audio-visual, and housekeeping.
  • Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all events.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure meeting rooms, banquet halls, and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and set up according to guest requirements.
  • Assist in controlling costs and maximizing revenue by monitoring event budgets, managing inventory, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team management.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
