Job Summary:
As a skilled Barbering Teacher, you will be responsible for leading barbering courses designed for young individuals with SEMH needs. This rewarding role requires a compassionate and patient approach to teaching practical barbering skills in a supportive environment.

About the Role:
This is an impactful position where you'll have the chance to empower young people, making a real difference in their lives. You will teach hands-on barbering sessions tailored to students' needs, create a safe learning environment, model basic barbering techniques, and build positive relationships with students. To succeed in this role, you should have demonstrable experience in barbering, excellent communication skills, and a non-judgmental approach suited to working with students with SEMH needs. A DBS check on the update service is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging barbering sessions tailored to students' needs.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment.
- Model and teach basic barbering techniques.
- Adapt teaching approaches and maintain patience, ensuring each student receives personalized instruction.
- Build positive relationships with students and work closely with school staff.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in barbering.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Compassionate, non-judgmental approach suited to working with young individuals with SEMH needs.
- Active DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
