**The Role**
We are seeking an Actuarial Developer to join our team, working closely with actuaries, developers, and client support professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret business requirements for features related to specific AXIS modules.
- Provide technical feedback on client requirements.
- Analyze and implement solutions, and program new features in AXIS.
- Design and implement features with wide implications and scope.
- Investigate and resolve bugs reported by clients.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards.
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Develop expertise in at least one area of actuarial practice.
- Participate in Interest Groups and Working Groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**
- A degree in actuarial science with a minor in computer science is preferred.
- Working towards IFOA certification.
- Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design and development, with C++ preferred.
- Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with excellent research capabilities.
- Self-motivated and good communication skills.
