Science Teacher Permanent position

Job Summary:

MLK Search is delighted to be supporting a unique, small, high-achieving secondary school in Lewisham who are looking to recruit a science specialist to take on a full-time, permanent teaching role in Spring Term 2025.

This is no 'run-of-the mill' school. They take an innovative approach to performance management, centering on process, and pedagogy, and are particularly in interested in educators who consider themselves lifelong learners and are committed to developing others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach science to students in a dynamic and progressive Science department
  • Develop and implement innovative science curriculum
  • Contribute to the continued development of the whole school
  • Support students to be happy and healthy, providing them the tools to critically assesses the world around them, and become well-informed changemakers
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher with QTS in the UK
  • Innovative and creative practitioner with a passion for Science
  • Committed to developing as a teacher and contributing to the continued development of the whole school
